Cable Safety - Bouncy Castle Hire Bexley

We often make posts about safety, including electrical safety. They aren't really that exciting, or at least not the same reaction as a brand new bouncy castle or product launch. However, it is more important and we feel that sharing some information now and again about what we do to ensure your party or occassion is safe is a good thing.

When cables are used outside, as a company we are bound by HSE regulations. We can't just use an indoors extension reel purchased from B&Q, we need industrial cables that meet certain criteria. We actually go over and above that criteria to make sure that we are totally confident in our set-up's and that all children are safe using the equipment.

We've just received the first batch of new cables for this year. All of our outside cables are made from 2.5mm H07RN-F, with 16amp c-form ip44 (or better) rated sockets. They also all have in-line Residual Circuit Breakers, too.

Unless you're an electrician or in the trade, that most likely won't mean much to you. However, rest assured our cables are all inspected with a PAT test and are the very best possible for outside use with a bouncy castle. We hope that by sharing this with you it encourages you to book with us!
