Upcoming Wrestling event
Our last Wrestling event went so well that we have decided to host another on February 16th 2023 at Welling School again - You can read all about our last wrestling event here.
We all had a great time at the last event and everyone attended said how much they enjoyed it. We spoke with the wrestling company and they could not wait to get another date booked in with us. Our next event will be just as exciting for children and adults. We even have two female wrestlers attending this one in February!
The layout of the wrestling ring is great, meaning that seating is set around the ring, allowing everyone to have a great view. This means no one is right at the back of hall not able to see or hear what is going on.
When the wrestlers enter the hall for their matches, they come out to their theme music, going round, chanting with the crowd, creating such a great atmosphere. As normal with all wrestling matches, there are always the goodies and the baddies. They really do make it great for all children and adults to enjoy and get involved.
The wrestlers themselves put on such a great show and really get into character, but in real life are all so lovely. At the end of the show they all come out and will sign autographs and pose for photos with anyone wishing to get these.
We are starting to see a bit of a following for the event with people booking in early, the story they tell is continous and ever evolving - There's no repeats of shows, it's a developing story arc with title changes, belts being won and grudges being settled and new ones started!
With SEN seating also available it makes it a little more accessible for SEN families, too. The seating is more comfortable with larger spaces, closer to the toilets and able to leave or step out if needed.
Being in Welling it's easier for local families to enjoy the thrill of a professional wrestling event without the long travel to huge arenas. The show is completely action packed with real ring announcer, professional wrestlers (some of which have been on TV), referee, bell ringer and entrance themes. It's not the WWE, but it's a genuine Indy show with a real following.
Non-stop atheletic action with top-rope spots, high flying stunts and compelling characters make this the show a wholesome and adrenaline thrilled exciting evening with th crowd going wild through-out! A brilliant night out for all local families and totally PG rated.
We will be selling our fun foods again, including, Hot-dogs, candy floss, popcorn, slush, water and hot drinks. This proved to be very popular last time.
The wrestling company will also be selling their merchandise for anyone who wishes to buy anything. The foam hands were a huge hit with the youngsters. They had such a big range of merchandise at the last event and were all reasonably priced.
We really cannot wait for this event again!
