Upcoming inflatable day
During the February half term, we have decided to put on another of our popular inflatable days. These sessions prove very popular for children up to the age of 11 (year 6 at primary school). There are always lots of big inflatables, including our big Rush slide and Helter Skelter. We also have our large jungle activity castle there, which is always a hit with all children.
Everything is set up to with health and safety in mind. There are plenty of safety mats in front of the castles and around the hall.
We set chairs up along the middle of the hall for parents/carers to sit and watch their children. We always advise to not let the children just run off on their own as they need supervision at all times. We have plenty of staff manning the inflatables but we do ask parents/carers to keep an eye on their own children too.
Our members of staff all wear hi-vis jackets, so that they are distinguishable to anyone who needs to help. We all have a walkie talkie, so that we can communicate effectively with each other. We have one dedicated member of staff on the front doors at all times to ensure no one runs out of the building.
At our inflatable days we have a dedicated SEN Session. Theses sessions are run at half the capacity of the other sessions, allowing a more relaxed environment. Here, all staff have their whistles taken off them and we can provide signs/cards to interact with the children. Our SEN sessions, do tend to get fully booked very quick, so if anyone ever wants to book one of these sessions, then we always advise to do this as soon as possible.
We ensure we have enough staff members to man the inflatables so that all the children can have a great time and always shave at least two first-aiders present
On the days, We have a toddler section, which includes two play-parks and a junior slide, this way the younger children can still have lots of fun, if they do not want to go on the bigger equipment. Its perfect for the little toddlers and younger siblings to enjoy and/or parents to play with them.
There are toilets, just right outside the main hall, so not far to walk at all and We provide a baby changing unit for anyone who needs to use these facilities.
At the events, we have our fun foods section, here you can purchase hot-dogs, crisps, water, slush and teas and coffees. We have two members of staff who are first aid trained. There is always a high demand for our fun foods and the hot dogs are always a winner!
