Belvedere School Bouncy Castle Fun Day
This was a great day, the very last day of the school term to see the kids off with smiles on their faces! The school contacted us at short notice to host an impromptu inflatable day for the last day of term. Normally we work with PTA's, but this event was hosted by the school themselves for the children!
It was a very well attended event with almost the entire school participating! In fact, it went so well that the school have already reached out to us to book in again for next year, including more inflatables than before; Bigger is better!
We staffed this event ourselves with the help of the school - We're always happy to provide just the inflatables, but the school needed a little help and asked for a few members of staff to help them, which we provided.
Due to the shortage of electrical points available we had to run some of the equipment from generators - We have our own in-house generators so never need to reply on third parties and provide all of the equipment ourselves. We can run up to 30 inflatables from our own power, but always reocmmend where possible to use the school's electrics as it is a cheaper option (although our generator cost is very competative as they are our own and we do not need to add a mark-up or reliant on the high prices of external cost). In some cases (like this one) we're also happy to only bring the generators required to supplement the difference, it's not all or nothing.
We're flexible in our approach and there's never a hard sell to push our own staff on to the event or bring generators that aren't required - But we have plenty of staff, equipment and generators should they be needed.
The children had a fantastic time, the big RUSH slide being the clear favourite winner. - We plan to bring a second RUSH slide with us for the next event as it went down so well with all that came.
It's a beautiful school with very well behaved children, they made it an easy job to staff and was a fantastic way to end the school year and say farewell to some as the last day for year 6 leavers!
