Bouncy Castle Door Step Deliveries
When we purchased our home indoor bouncy castles we decided that during lockdown these would be offered as a door step delivery service to ensure customers are confident that we're delivering in a covid secure manor.
This presented a challenge - How do we ensure that the set-up of the inflatable is safe while maintaining zero contact?
We're able to deliver to the door-step, not entering the customers home (with light-weight equipment, custom made for exactly that purpose), but how do we ensure that the equipment can be set-up safely?
This is where we leverage our years of experience to put together easy to use guides. When you hire a bouncyc astle from us, we automatically require you to go through our terms before proceeding with the order, you're then sent over a confirmation email with those terms. However, when you hire an indoor home bouncy castle, you're also automatically sent another email containing:
- Instructions for set-up - Which is a set-by-step guide to un-packing the bouncy castle, connecting the blower and safely inflating it.
- Risk Assessment - Created to ensure risk is identified and managed. All measures that can be taken by us are completed prior to deliver (ensuring it's covid-secure), but there are measures for the customer to understand and undertake, too.
- Safety Sheet - A handy guide to ensure that children are kept safe while using the inflatable. The image of which is below.
These instructions have been created using years worth of experience. We went throughthe process of setting up the inflatable ourselves first, documenting the steps, writng them up in lay terms, made them concise and easy to comprehend, then when the document was completed we asked our children to follow them. Completely un-aided they was able to finish the set-up by following the instructions! We're confident that by following the simple steps we provide that any customer can not just set-up the bouncy castle, but do so safely!
After every hire so far we have been asking for feedback on the instructions - We've made one small adjustment based on one customers small suggestion and are happy witht he final set of instructions that only our customers receive. Not only that, but we're always on-call and available for a phone call if there is any uncertainty.
