Bouncy Castle Cleaning in Response to Covid-19
As a direct response to the Covid-19 global pandemic we have introduced rigorous new cleaning procedures for all of our equipment.
All equipment is washed before it is hired, and by washed we mean that it is scrubbed clean using anti-bacterial cleaning products (specifically BIO-SAN, a new to market specialist bouncy castle cleaner made to kill bacterial with a success rate of 99.9999% within 5 minutes of contact). It's then hosed off and given a soap foam wash and hosed off again. Finally, it is sprayed with anti-bacterial cleaner using a pressure washer on the mist setting, allowed to sit for 20 minutes and then rinsed off, where is finally allowed to dry.
This is all completed by a single person wearing the correct PPE at all times.
The equipment is "rested" for 5 days before it is allowed to be hired out. Environmental health requires the equipment to be rested for 3 days (72 hours) but we have a huge range of childrens bouncy castles and can easily cope with resting them for longer (there's no harm in going over the measures).
We are taking lots of other measures to ensure that we're covid secure, but as an additional step, when we install the equipment int he back garden of the customer, we're spraying the bouncy castle from head to toe in BIO-SAN again, providing an additional layer of reassurance.
When the equipment is collected, we're also cleaning it again after a rest period. All of this adds up to a whole lot of cleaning (but we're hoping that people choose to book a bouncy castle with us for the extra measures we're taking, rather than based purely on price).
We pride ourselves on safety and by taking these steps (as well as many others, such as contactless delivery to household's only; no gatherings) we can provide reassurance that we're covid-secure.
