Bouncy Castle Winter Clean
As the Winter season is now upon us, we decided to give our inflatables a good winter clean. In truth, circumctances demanded it...
During the months of October - February we only hire our equipment inside halls; It's cold, wet and miserable outside and the equipment becomes hard to manage with outside hires. We had already commited to some charity events and we was caught out with the weather! It poured down and not only was the inflatables filled up like a paddling pool with water, but they had become dirty on the hire where the grass had become sodden and children's transfered mud and grass over them.
The good news is that the events where a success despite the weather, but the result was some truly soaked inflatables. With the weather continuing to be wet and cold, we hired a hall in Bexleyheath whom we have an excellent relationship with and spen the day cleanng the bouncy castles, but also drying them out (which actually took longer).
The outside of the bouncy castles dry-off pretty quickly in most cases, especially with some towel drying. The inside however is another matter and can be a real challanege, causing issues if left un-checked. Fortunately we have some specialist drying equipment for the inside of bouncy castles, with a heater fan that's no good for normal use and inflatation, but designed to push warm air inside the inflatable and dry it out from the inside out!
Perhaps not the most riveting blog post, but hopefully this goes some way to demonstrate that we take cleanliness seriously. If nothing else, they're pretty cool photos!
