Strange Freak Weather and Bouncy Castles
We're super on top of cleaning our bouncy castles and all of our other equipment. We can't stand dirty inflatables and consider it one of our core company beliefs. When you hire from us, you can expect us to be on-time, safe, good communication and clean equipment with a smile. It's not a particulary complicated recipe for a good party and great reputation; It just requires a little thought and a lot of elbow grease.
We post about cleaning the equipment regulary, you'll often see blogs about us giving them a scrub or washing them off. This week has been a little different though... The English weather is anything but predictable. There have been gale force winds, torrential rain and the hottest day of the year all in the same week! It sounds exciting, but it has been a recipe for disaster for bouncy castles and keep them clean.
The rain and heavy downpours have meant that the ground becomes wet and muddy, the kids then smear it intot he bouncy castle with their socks and then sudden and immediate sunshine ensures that the mud and grime is baked into the material and is stuck on solid, worked into the material's grain.
Rest assured however, not a single one of our bouncy castles have gone our dirty. We've been busy, washing, spraying, scrubbing and jet washing the castles all week long and they're as good today as they when they arrive fresh out the packet. In some cases slightly better in fact as they now have a lovely lemon or cherry hint smell to them!
It's more work than people realise, they need drying out for hours and go through a few processes to make sure they're clean and suitable, but we feel it's worth the effort and believe it's one of the reasons we have so many returning customers!
