Bouncy Castle Fete Package in Lesnes Abbey
We was extremely honoured to be asked to supply a fete package to Lesnes Abbey park for a faith group. Lesnes Abbey is a stunning park with the remains of the Abbey still present and visited daily by people coming to explore and view the historic landmark.
It's extremely difficult to obtain permission to host events at this location, with lots of controls in place. When the faith group was looking for a supplier they tried contacting several companies before choosing us, as we was able to provide risk assesments, public liability insurance, PIPA tag numbers and reassurance that we was the right choice for them.
Sadly they wasn't allowed trailing leads across pathways (despite us being able to provide mitigation from the risk), meaning they had to use generators; Something we're able to provide without issue. Being on council land in Bexley they needed Diesel generators instead of Petrol (something we was able to provide and confirm).
The result was a fantastic day, enjoyed by lots of people. We actually stayed ourselves as they had quite a few attractions, including a big bird show where an eagle flew from one end of the park to the other then swooped down to catch it's food set out by the bird handler.
We received a really nice message from the group afterwards, explaining that they was over the moon with the service and that we had made it easy for them, keeping to our word.
They was a little concerned as this was the first time and they was being judged. If it wasn't a success or they miss-managed the event then the council and park wouldn't let them host another one at that venue. Fortunately it went exactly to plan and they're eager to go again soon!
