Inflatable Mega Day in Welling

This is the culmination of years of experience, enabling us to host the biggest ever inflatable day ever for Welling. We have hosted dozens of our own inflatable days, as well as assisted schools in their own fetes and other events.

We have previously hosted some of the best inflatable fun days in the area, based on the feedback received. We've had big events in enourmous sports halls, packing in 15 inflatables or various types. However, it's really not just about how many inflatables there are, but how it's run... Is it over-crowded? Are their toilets available? Is the event well staffed? Is it safe? Is there a first-aider? Is there food and drink available? Is there enough variety and does it cater for younger siblings? There's a lot that goes into these days outside of just erecting a few bouncy castles.

This inflatable day though is the big one. This is the one that's going to blow any previous event out of the water and we're bringing all of our experience with us. We're taking on quite the challenge and stepping up this inflatable day to new heights. We're doubling the amount of inflatables! Not only that, but we're going big! We're bringing 4 times the amount of big slides, we're increasing the amount of fun-runs and we're bringing longer ones! We're also bringing new types of inflatables and equipment that we've never previously had at these events.

Why are we doing this though? I mean... The previous fun-days are cool and very well received, why go bigger? Well, the bigger we go, the more money we can raise and all profit is being used for Tiger Ward, a child cancer ward in Queen Elizabeth hospital. Every single penny profit is going directly to improve the children's lives in a way that is long-lasting. If you're interested in seeing what has been acheived the last 3 years and what we will continue to be doing, then you should head over to https://www.facebook.com/JakesTrueStory/

With the massive increase in inflatables, we've had to put this event outside on the sports field. It's absolutely huge and can accomodate the fun-day with enough room for guests to bring blankets and set up their own little area. There will be no issue of space for push-chairs and enough room to spread out, the area is huge!

We're also honoured to have two nurses attending from the hospital, specifically two from Tiger Ward itself. We always have suitable and appropriate first-aiders at our events, but usually this is a marshal or two that are first-aid trained. Considering the size of this event we decided from the start that we would need a dedicated first-aid tent. When we mentioned this at the hospital we was over-come with the immediate offer from the nurses that they would attend themselves. You often see St Johns Ambulance attend events, which is very reassuring, but to have actual pead nurses on-site is a first for us!

There will ofcourse be food and drink available (and this is something we're also stepping up this year, too) as well as facilities. We hope to see as many people there supporting the charity and having a great time! Tickets are now live and available to purchase at just £6 each!
