Bouncy Castle Cable Safety

We don't always keep our news system filled with stunning photos of our exciting bouncy castle range, we sometimes post things like this; Insights into our safety and the measures we take. We like to try and post these frequently so that we reassure our customers that we're the number one bouncy castle hire company for safety.

We just had a new batch of cables arrive recently and felt like it was a good opportunity to take a photo of them fresh out the packaging and talk about exactly what they are and why we're different.

These cables are 2.5mm H07RN-F. This cable is the king for outside use, it's actually used in drainage systems and work sites where they need to submerge the cable under water. We take no risks here, we don't use anything other than H07RN-F for outside hires.

The fact it's 2.5mm core means it's very thick, thicker than any regular extension lead you'll find domestically. We do this purposefully so that if we need to extend the lead it can safely carry the electrical current without the volts dropping. As standard our leads are 25 metres long, which is more than enough for most large gardens. However, sometimes for schools or super long gardens we need the cable to be longer. We carry additional 25 metre lengths that can connect to the lead, making it a whopping 50 metres long. This is ideal for schools that do not want the cost of a generator, but need the inflatables out on a school field for a fete. We do not run domestic extension reels which would be utterly unsafe for several reasons; We can gaurantee a safe extension of 50 metres from a single socket for a single bouncy castle fan.

We also use 16amp connections to ensure that they are perfectly safe for outside use (even in the rain). You'll also notice the switches in the picture; These are RCD's (residual current device). These are literal life savers, stopping current incase of a fault and protecting against electrical fires. These are on every single one of our cables. We opt to have these hard wired into the cable itself, meaning that under no circumstance is it possible fo rhe RCD to be removed, it's literally part of the cable itself.

These cables are the very best, the very safest for bouncy castles. There is no better than can be used. It comes at a high cost to us, but our commitment to safety isn't just a slogan or a catch phrase that is meaningless, we stand behind it even when it isn't visible or noticeable to customers.
