Ice Cream Man Van School Fete
Our local ice-cream van man has been coming down our road for as long as we can remember. In fairness we even used to buy ice-creams and ice-lollies from him before we had children (that's not weird, is it? That's a thing adults still do, right?).
He's a really friendly guy and even his name is synonomous with good weather "Sunny". We're big believers in local jobs for local people, we use a local window cleaner, use the local butchers in Pickford lane and wherever we can, use services like this. The ice-cream van man is part of our childhood and not something we want to see go the way of the super-market!
We was speaking to him yesterday and he saw us in our work clothes, spotting correctly that we run an inflatable business and hire bouncy castles. He shared with us that he takes on custom work, will attend fetes and do a special visit for a birthday.
We are often asked to supply to school fetes and put on inflatable events, but we're also asked for industry contacts such as candy floss vendors,face-painters, pop-corn and even ice-cream vans. Wenever put a mark-up or commision on the services and try to act as a middle-man, we put you in touch with them directly and happy for you to make your own agreement with them, meaning you get the best price possible and we're just happy to make a reocmmendation based on who we truly think is the best person for the job.
