Brand New Mega Inflatable Slide
We are so pleased to be able to finally unveil our brand new mega slide. This was ordered back in October last year and has only just arrived (sometimes these things do take a while), but the wait has been worth it!
This is our biggest slide, if you look at the scale in the photo you can see the slide is more than double the height of the lady (the lady being my beautiful wife). Technically it's not our tallest slide, we do have a slide that has a huge arch over the top of it that's actually 14 foot in height. However, the platform size (the size to the top of the actual bit you slide down from) on that one is 6 foot (still pretty great to be honest), as where the slide is 8 foot to the platform, making it much more fun!

As with all of our slides, we have opted to have a fitted cover put over the part you slide down from. The main reason for this fitted cover is to stop children doing flips and somersaults, which can lead to injury and not allowed. It also stops more spirited children from trying to climb over the sides.
We always opt for the safest option and in this case where we was involved in the design process, because the steps are a bit more of a climb than our mid-range super slide, we have had handles (by handles we do not mean hard objects, but soft material grips) added to aid users with climbing up. You can see in the photos below that the side walls of the path leading up where the steps are have handles; These handles are there for older users who tend to walk up the slide upright on two feet. We have also added handles running up the steps on the floor too; These handles are perfect for younger children who would normally climb up the slide using their hands and feet.
These handles are a great feature for children that are a little more unsteady or need a little confidence to go up. Some children are born with no fear and will bolt of the slide in seconds like a dog off a leash, but not all children are the same. Some children need a little more encouragement and will benefit from these handles to build their confidence.
The inflatable has already been inspected by an RPII inspector and gained it's safety inspection report with RPII certificate!
