New Bouncy Castle Delivery Van
Well, we guess technically this isn't a new team member. However, when you rely on the van as much as we do to ensure all bouncy castles are delivered on time, it's hard not to think of it as one of the team; Family even!
Sadly, our old bouncy castle hire van had some mechanical issues that meant it was beyond economical repair. We was fortunate that when it happened we had an immediate offer of a van loan from a close competitor; One that we generaly send all of our leads to when we cannot fullfill the hire request ourselves. We went through the weekend with this borrowed van while looking for another suitable replacement.
While we are going to miss our old van, the new one is a serious upgrade! We took the opportunity to increase our load capacity while not increasing the length of the vehicle too much (some extra long vans look great, but are hard to park in residential areas).
We are stickers for making sure our ball pools have more than enough balls in them; We noticed some times other hire companies put just enough balls in to cover the base of the inflatable (which is not so much fun at all, the whole point of a ball pool is the balls!). We understand how this can happen... A full Bag of balls take up as much room as a single bouncy castle, we deliver two bags with each ball pool, meaning that in terms of load space it's more than double the room in the van take a bouncy castle takes. When hirers are very busy, it's an easy short-cut to halve the amount of balls, taking up less room and making the set-up easier for them (but seriously cuting the amount of fun down).We decided that just wasn't an option for us; We'd rather be known as the company that delivers on it's promises, so we a bigger van makes a lot of sense!
The new van also has a tail lift. This means that we are now more than ever equipped to deal with big events and large fetes! We can easily load an entire full van and drop it immediately on the field!
The van is a bright yellow colour and quite striking, there aren't that many of them and certainly not that many driving around Welling. If you see us about then feel free to give us a wave!
